Hikaru Kato worked for Asia Initiatives, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports to empower people to realize their full potential, as a project manager and a data analyst for over 4 years, where she monitored progress of projects and advised local partners. She also led data analyses to measure and visualize the impact of projects on communities. Prior to that, she worked in the asset management industry in US and Japan for over 9 years across alternative strategies such as private equity, hedge funds, REITs and preferreds. Hikaru has experience working at Oxfam International (a global non-profit organization that fights inequality to end poverty and injustice) in the UK and JEN (an international non-governmental organization that supports those people with hardship due to conflicts and disasters across the globe) in Japan as a volunteer.
